Last year during the event Fantacity in the center of Perugia, I had a display of my Delishoes - shoe sculptures that really look like they are made of chocolate, but are not.
Here I am next to almost the full collection of them. Some are not on a chocolate these but look like animals, or other sculptural forms.
All exhibited in the marvelous underground Rocca Paolina in the center of Perugia.

FOTO.IT -- Perugia's photography group ACAR featured this month
In this month's FOTO.IT magazine, the members of our photo group in Perugia, ACAR, headed by photographer and friend, Marco Nicolini, had the priviledge of publishing a sample of the photographs of the group to celebrate twenty years of the group's activity. Here is the Italian article along with the photographs of the groups' members.
My photograph, of the woman in the check jacket, was taken during the photography show in Bologna of well-known Nino Migliori, while the woman viewed one of the photos of Migliori's exhibition. The name of the photograph is "Coincidenze Migliori" (Best Coincidences, or Migliori Coincidences).

A special exhibition -- 60 artists for "Un Petalo Rosa Per Non Dimenticare"
The above is a new poster of all of the
partecipating artists of the exhibition.
Here is the Italian Translation of the following text which gives a description of the collective exhibition -- Ecco la traduzione del testo che segue
Adele Lo Feudo, artista e organizzatrice dell'evento sta lavorando insieme a tante
A PINK PETAL....SO AS TO NOT FORGET
A very special exhibition composed of 60 artists
who have donated their work for this immense and powerful
cause, to sensitize the public and give support to the familes
of women and girls who have been victims of male aggression
which has resulted in dozens of deaths in the last several years.
Adele Lo Feudo, artist and organizer of the event, has been
working on the installation and organization of the artists and their works
in order to create the right atmosphere, delicate and powerful at the same
time. The artists were very willing to donate their paintings, sculptures,
and poets and other artists showed availability in presenting their talents
in contributing to the event. Each piece created will be shown on the
19th in Perugia and then in Cosenza in the month of November. Each piece
is dedicated to one of the many victims.
A note, the parents of one young girl who was murdered at the age of 19, Roberta Lanzino, will be present from Cosenza. It will be a special occasion, one filled
with great emotion, definitely for the artists who have worked to create the exhibition
and hopefully for the public as well.

Eva Grimaldi and a painting
Strange coincidence this morning. On Yahoo home page there was a picture and article of this beautiful actress, Eva Grimaldi. Just last night I did this little panting of this unknown fantasy lady. I find there is a bit of a resemblance.

A tiny little pencil drawing: Mila Meter
Just had a few inches of paper in front of me, and out came this tiny little pencil drawing: Mila Meter.
Fun to sit and draw, without knowing what will come up.

Scratchboard
A technique I enjoyed as a student in highschool, still a very interesting technique.
A special board covered with ink and then scratched into, achieving fine lines that define the image.
Here, after many years, three tiny drawings.

Paintings, photography
Sometimes a painting inspires one to take photographs, and sometimes a photograph may serve as inspiration for a painting.
Here, a photograph of my dear friend, that I developed in black and white, served to then create my own color scheme in an acrylic painting on canvas paper. "Claudia", 16"x20", acrylic on paper.

First oil painting since I was 15 years old
I have been painting with acrylic paints for years.
When I was only 13 I was given a set of oil paints from my grandfather. I used them for a while and then, after working in an art store at 17 years old, I bought acrylics. This is what I used for many years.
Just today, after many years, I had the pleasure to paint with a new painter friend. We used oils.
This is the first oil painting I have done is many many years. At first I was a bit shy with this new medium, but after a while I see the difference of painting with oils, and believe I just may continue with them!

Painting how you are feeling
Just did this painting yesterday, Woman and Child, acrylic on paper, 16"x20". Never before in my life have I realized how much I am painting how I am feeling. And what I am feeling is the need for relaxation, calm, and doing two of the activities I love, swimming and walking.
I like to express calmness in artwork, things that relax me and others. I had taken a series of photographs at a swimming pool here, of parents with their babies in the water. It was like entering into a very personal intimacy with them, I almost felt like I shouldn't even be there with them. But they kindly let me photograph them, and I enjoyed it immensely.
This is a painting I completed in a short time yesterday, after working on a painting that took me weeks to finish, I felt the urge to just let myself relax with colors and shapes, and while doing it I was relaxing too.

Delishoes Primaverile
At Sweet Torgiano Cake Design, I presented the first cake I have ever decorated in this fashion, Delishoes Primaverile (Spring Delishoes). The dummy cake was created by cutting out a model from styrofoam and then decorating all of the pieces with edible incredients based on powdered sugar, butter, food coloring.
Here are some pictures from the ceremony of the winners, and photos of my shoe in a store window in the town of Torgiano.
